I have a newly updated Known Issues list for you! Please let me know in #mobile-general if you feel there's been any missed. These should be issues that heavily affect the game and your ability to play. I won't be including funky graphical glitches or anything like that unless they affect game play.

Menu Entry Swapper & 'Walk Here' interactions

  • 'Walk Here' MES changes position for all NPCs
    - It requires the walk to option never to be changed, to revert it, head into your settings and reset your minimenu settings.

**Certain Interactions lock the player to completing the action **- We've seen this particularly effect being unable to cancel a spell once selected

  • To fix: Enable cancel option in your settings

Client freezing for a few seconds while doing certain activities or after killing a monster in combat

Having Loot Tracker and ~~ground items enabled can cause the game to freeze. We recommend disabling ground items until fixed.

We've implemented a way to fix the Loot Tracker issue. This process may take up to a minute and may slow your game while running, so we recommend finding a safe area before running these steps.

In chat, type ::repairlt
Note: that's a lower case "L" like, repair lt (loot tracker),

If you've entered this correctly, a message will appear in chat saying: "Attempting to repair LootTracker save",
Once the repair is finished, you'll get a message informing whether a repair was made, or whether it completed the check and there was nothing to fix,
All done!

Odd occurrences, usually on login

This sometimes manifests as invisible characters or inventory items

Long click options have become single click including:

  • Removal of bank place holders
  • Adding players to friends list from chat box
  • Replying via a dm msg

Other Bugs

  • NPC Single Tagging doesn't persist upon Logout
  • Boss/enemy hitpoints, timers and Slayer Task info partially hidden by Chat Stones when Chat is collapsed
  • The CoX interface when collapsed overlaps and is difficult to read
  • Some minimenu text doesn't align with the box's background

Hey all, just adding the current known issues so you know we're aware. Unfortunately I don't have a current ETA for a fix but the team are investigating both:

  • Sound issues - some areas have overly loud or distorted audio. We recommend playing with sounds off for now (Know this isn't ideal though) - investigating
  • Click-box issues are causing a change in priority between some NPCs and items - investigating

Hey all, just making you aware of a bug we're looking into:

Some Android clients get stuck on the loading screen on first attempt to join the game, but closing and opening the app seems to fix it.

We're aware of a bug with today's client update causing the game UI to appear too small.

While the team investigates the issue, you can uninstall and reinstall the app for a quick fix, however please keep in mind that this will reset your device's Loot Tracker and any highlights set up on your device.

The above issue should now be resolved via a hotfix - your UI should be restored after a relog, no app update required.

We've fixed an issue causing some mobile devices being unable to login when connected to certain providers. You should no longer see this login issue, but if you are still experiencing it, please let us know!

We're aware of an issue causing you to be unable to talk to or interact with NPCs and some activities like fishing spots while your NPC Attack Options are set to "hidden". We're working on a fix for this, in the meantime you can change that option to something else and be able to interact as normal.

We're aware of a few issues with MCS, we've been investigating fixes for them so thank you so much to everyone who has reported it and shared info with us, it's been a massive help. We're looking at rolling out another client update next week (the earliest we can now). There have been some community workarounds identified to try help with the issues until then.

  • MCS isn't remembering the character you were last signed in on for some people.
    • For now, if you go into your account settings you can move your preferred character to the top of your character list, it'll then show up as your default character to log in as.
  • Some players are being logged out when world hopping and being sent back to the default character rather than the one they were playing. In some cases the character isn't logged out and simply switches to the default on world hop and can continue playing.
    • This is actually related to the first issue, so again if you shuffle your preferred character to the top of the list, that should solve it for now.
  • Full logout when exiting the app not via a manual logout (so backgrounding the app or navigating away)
    • Doing a full manual logout seems to keep you logged in past auth stage, so try to remember to do that manual logout step for now.

There are a couple of other bugs we're aware of and are still investigating that aren't MCS related, these won't be fixed in the next client update but we wanted to let you know we know of them!

  • There's still some world hop crash issues with some Sailing activities. Our previous fix seems to have snagged most of them but we're looking into the outliers
    • Any further info you guys can share on these would be super helpful.
  • Some people are getting stuck in a login loop where they're trying to authenticate but it's sending them back to the original first login screen.
    • We also could do with more details from people experiencing this, so please do make threads in mobile bugs!
