I didn't think it was possible to be assigned a slayer task that you don't have access to so I'm very confused. Anyone have a solution to this so I can grind slayer like a normal person?

you wear half mage half def gear in mage mode: tridwent or better pstaff (like echo pstaff)
in mellee mode you go full tank and use toxic whip
