In theory you would just kill the 1 brother, then loot chest without killing the chest brother.

But in practice, the extra loot rolls from killing all brothers ends up as better rates than target farming 1 brother, even if you are only after a specific piece.

The side loot is scaled based on mobs killed in the tunnels, so if your common loot is trash, kill a couple more skeletons when you get down there

Its not based on rune regen. Its based on the 2nd hit of kings barrage being an ice spell, and the node turning the ice spell to a water spell, and the final node in the water tree healing you for 60% of all water spell damage, so 60% of the kings barrage ice spell 2nd hit

Yeah for sure. They’re catering to the majority, but I believe there is another way that could’ve catered to both.

Path of exile caters to both very well
