pretty late in leagues but if anyone struggling with Axe Enthusiast, get as low magic bonus as possible (cursed amulet from kourend is helpful) with water regen, you heal 10 each cast (as long as you have 100% rune regen chance) for free :) still gotta flick for orb, maybe dodge if you can but made it so simple

i have flask so i typically end up flasking bosses whenever they're like low hp but at maiden you want to save flasks for blasting the crabs

so u coordinate with others

but the neat thing is flask also helps when i get giga chanced and i get back to full quickly and back into the fight without wasting time

some people like to use flask to skip maze as well but only if they have crazy sustain

dont recommend doing that unless u know what you're doing

Hey i'm new to leagues, im running a water mage/thorns build. Could anyone help me with which gear is bis? I chose kandarin/tirannwyn/morytania as my zones and im currently in full crystal with shadowflame

if u need more accuracy then you use crystal, if u need more damage/thorns you use justiciar

for example if a boss attacks slowly and doesnt recoil damage as often, crystal may be a better option but if it has multi attacks and hits fast and often justiciar can be the better play

i think crystal is really good for balanced mage builds

the blessing still benefits autocast too just not as much as powered

From my (limited experience) for high defense enemies like vard, I just run full tank since water spells heal regardless if they hit or not, allowing thorns to do the actual damage.

I know you mentioned when you need to be positive mage, that didn't get lost on me either

Main issue with tiranwnn is that melee builds dont get much buffs from pacts inside gauntlet, would want to respec for 1 tick powered staff until done with cg/echo hunleff

thorns blindbag shouldnt have much impact in tob. echo hunleff is pretty overwhelming if you dont cheese it with 75-100% prayer pen and 1 tick powered staff (i did with those and flask of fervour and could kill it in 40-50sec without needing to avoid tornados)

crystal armour just would be like 10-15% more dps than torva if crystal blessing from echo boss and you have the 50% prayer converts to str bonus demonic pact
