Automatic AFK kicker

I believe since a year or two there is an afk-kicker button for games, with which the owner of a game can kick out all afk players from a game, before he starts it.

However, for all major official tournaments/championships, there are still many, many, many afk players. I believe these games are creates automatically, so i understand the owner sill nog use the afk-kicker button.

But would it not be possible to automatically kick all afk players before the game starts? Especially for tournaments this would seem not hard to apply.

Agreed. First couple rounds of official tournys always so useless

I talked with dev team and afk autokick wont be implemented. They suggest to shorten time before event opening.

shortening the time wont do, because some new players join the game for 1 day, join games and quit. We will still have the same problem. Yes less afkers, but still there will be afkers. Plenty of them

Cant be any good reasons apart from the unwillingness to put efforts into implementing auto afk kicker
