In terms of "Ease of use" the evergrowing inventory needs better organization. Inventory groups for client editor allows you to assign a custom group name to items in your inventory, similiar to folders. That way you can search the inventory by filtered group name. Similiar to how the marketplace filters items by group name.

Is there a requirement to have nested folders? It feels intuitive but that can result in messy inventory unless you are super consistent for years with organizing your inventory. We should have some lessons from long time SL users, and see what are the real issues they have with the inventory system, and if we can find a better solution

..not folders, tagging...similiar to store

we can add default tags like the store category the item was bought from, the creator, the year/month, and also the product name if its a script and you have multiple versions

ya, that works.... right now there's a crude way of doing it.... for example, an item that's a house, (house-western-house-00) ....at store can be renamed and in inventory still retains same name.... so it's nearly like tagging but manually.... with built-in write-in tagging would be nicer, shorter names, optimized, ease of use..
