Description:
The year is 1883. Halcyon pushes west into the Dead Wastes — a scorched penal county on the edge of the Forsaken Frontier. You are convicts, exiles, or the inconveniently forgotten, shipped under armed guard to carve rail lines through dragon-haunted canyons and dinosaur-stalked plains. The law rides hard but thin, and beyond the watchtowers lie ghost towns ruled by outlaw gangs, Warforged deserters, bounty hunters, rail barons, and black-market spell-slingers firing illegal component bullets beneath a burning sky. Survival means choosing who you ride with — the federal wardens, the gangs, the frontier settlers, or yourself.
But the Dead Wastes are older than Halcyon. Ancient gods stir beneath buried ruins, strange monoliths hum at dusk, and something golden burns beneath the desert at night. Dragons circle sacred sites, druids guard forgotten groves, and whispers speak of a buried city swallowed by sand. In this High Fantasy Western of gun smoke, divine ruin, and frontier justice, freedom is never given — it’s taken at the end of a barrel. Out here, everyone’s running from something… and something is always watching back
