Campaign Name: The Champions’ Gambit
The Hook: The World is in chaos. An evil sorceress queen…banished long ago by a band of legendary heroes…seeks her revenge. And the Gods, are nowhere to be found. The heroes of legend? well, they’ve been dead for several years now. The evil one? well, she is relentless, cunning; the mistress of many, and also of none. Who will stand up against the ancient evil, when all hope is but lost, and take up the Champions’ Gambit?
The campaign description: The Gods have disappeared. The Elves have retreated to the forests. The Dwarves, aware of the recklessness of Man, hide in their mountains. And Man simply does as he pleases, for who’s gonna stop him?
A Dark Wizard wanders. Some say he talks of an evil God that once plagued the land long ago, eager to seek revenge. Others claim they've seen him atop a shadowy bird, the breath of electric fire coursing from its mouth…but these are just rumors, tall tales amongst drunkards at a tavern.
Enter the rag-tag band of Adventurers. Each called upon by a celestial voice, to form an unlikely alliance, to learn where the Gods have run off to, and, if possible, to stop the evil plaguing the land. As stated in The Prophecy, woven throughout time, these adventurers will become heroes, will become legendary, and will undertake The Champions' Gambit…
