System: D&D 5E / One D&D with substantial homebrew (detailed in the Google Doc)
**Time: **Saturday evenings, 5:30pm UTC-8 (PST) / 8:30pm UTC-5 (EST)
Looking for 2–3 more players (18+ and intermediate-Advanced knowledge)
Narrative Hook:
The Sundering was a grand disaster in the Year of Ash 741, born from a catastrophic Mana Storm that threatened to consume all the Dawnlands. Though the Ardent Wolf halted its spread, the nation of Gewitter was destroyed its people scattered across the world, and its cities, landmarks, and settlements displaced entirely. In response, the Worldwide Adventurers Guild has issued a global request: all able-bodied adventurers are to aid in locating the displaced citizens of Gewitter and escort them to restoration camps in the Dawnlands to rebuild what was lost. Your first step is enlist with the Adventurers Guild, get your license, and be assigned a retrieval party.
Player Hook:
This is a heavily developed world with a vast amount of lore, and I’m looking for players willing to engage deeply with the story and the setting. I’m also hoping for players comfortable with new gameplay systems, as the world includes a skill-tree-style progression called the “Magic God” and “Sword God” styles. For those familiar, yes these systems take inspiration from Jobless Reincarnation. The setting also draws inspiration from Jobless Reincarnation and Cookie Run Kingdom (chud game, I know), but this campaign is not a retelling or adaptation of either.
While reading the lore is encouraged, I don’t expect anyone to read everything. The only required sections will be those covering mana storms and the homebrew systems, and I’m always happy to answer questions. There will be a light prescreening process, I’m not trying to get stuck with weirdos so thank you for your patience. Feel free to ask any questions, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
