Noctis, Plane of Shadow
Arcania, Plane of Magic
Zephyx, Plane of Sky
Atlantis, Plane of Water
Aurelora, Plane of Dreams
Infernis, Plane of the Dead
The planes are all connected to eachother by THE ASTRAL SEA, a cosmic expanse of magical energy. Travel between planes is impossible, but travel between planes and the astral sea is.
The Midlands had a curse placed on it where nobody it allowed to leave or enter it by a group known as the red cult. The red cult detroyed history, leveled cities to the ground. They erased the history of the other planes from the midlands while the other planes looked on in horror. Once their job was finished, the red cult disappeared.
You all are residents of the midlands. You have zero knowledge of the other planes. You have been sent a letter by a mysterious figure. The letter tells you to go to the capitol city of Vaelar, the civil war torn kingdom you start out in, and to await instructions there.
I've been working on this campaign for well over 2 years now, and each time I've messed up somewhere. I've lost count of how many iterations of this campaign I've done, my longest lasted almost a year and the shortest was one singular session. Each time though, I get better. I think this time around will be my very best. The previous iteration died because nobody was showing up. I have great hope for this campaign. Due to how many iterations there have been, I am going to litter the campaign with references all but probably 2 of you won't understand. Don't worry this won't make the campaign any less enjoyable.
