"In the 31st century, the Time Force Power Rangers safeguarded the timestream from criminals and paradoxes. During their tenure, they faced threats like Ransik, Frax, and later, mutant warlords who sought to erase the lineage of Rangers across time. But one unauthorized mission, known only to Time Force's inner council, changed everything.
After the defeat of Ransik, a rogue faction within Time Force grew paranoid. They theorized that the Morphing Grid, being linked to all Ranger teams across history, could be corrupted or destroyed in the past, wiping out every Ranger in one blow. To prevent this, they launched Project Hypergate a secret experiment to travel to the very birth of the Morphing Grid, hoping to shield or encode it with Time Force technology. They succeeded in arriving at the Genesis Core, but their interference created a feedback loop of paradox energy and Grid radiation. This loop caused a massive destabilization scientifically named "The Chronoclysm".
It caused splinters of grid nodes across all of reality, it birthed alternate universes and variant Ranger teams, more importantly raw grid energy spilled into non-physical dimensions. Twelve ancient, star-born entities dwelling in the astral plane were inadvertently struck by Grid energy thus giving birth to your powers. The Zodiacs became anchored to the Grid permanently. They stabilized what remained of the Grid's structure which resulted in the solution of the Chronoclysm, the universe we live in is the only one that survived but over time other factors of the Morphing Grid died and was over powered by the Zodiacs, all the power rangers of this world lost their power...
