The factions are at war. The Harpers, Emerald Enclave, and Order of the Gauntlet are battling against The Lord's Alliance and Zhentarim.
The battle has been going well thus far for triple entente, The Gauntlet has done well holding lines of defense, and the Emerald Enclave's use of guerilla tactics have proven most helpful against any invading forces.
However...Tides have been turning. The Zhentarim and Lord's Alliance seem to be getting more and more soldiers by the day...and they all seem to be magic users. Rumors have been circling that it's the work of the cults...
That's where you come in. We need your group to go and investigate these cults. We have sources of where they might be stationed, and that's where you'll go first. Good luck.
