Description: This is a homebrewed campaign in an open world, the main story advances at the player's pace, although, no without consequences.
A continent that has fallen from its' former glory can be seen in the world, labelled "Otandia", once inhabited in great density and wealth by not only humanoids, but also beings descendant from the astral plane, with bulwarks in form of cities, capable of creating vast technology with magic and terrain so fertile hunger is only a matter of choice for those who have control. And such came to an end as the balance of the world between civilisation and wild became unstable, generating beings crawling from the depths of the abyss called "Crimson Beasts", which annihilated most, if not all traces of the astral beings in the world and cutting the humanoids' amount in the world by 3/4ths. As the dust settled, chaos sprung once more, as the once corpses of those otherworldly beings created a material capable of transforming an inter-subjective reality, that is, a concept without any matter of its' own, into material reality.
With more experiments, no more than three centuries prior a manifestation of such material created a hive, spreading like infection, corrupting the consciousness and further expanding, destroying the civilisation of the northern skies. Along such, south of the continent, anarchy spread as the ideals of further research to return to the fabled old world began ravaging the region. However, hope is not lost, as the lands of the Nirdayatans are still a bastion of civilisation, home to the adventurer's guild.
The setting is very close to medieval, the task that this adventure upholds is not to stop a catastrophe, but to undo one and give hope to the continent once more.
