By creating a small gap between a person and an object it creates a pinch which you can wiggle your camera back and forth to pass through locally. When passed through locally you can vault an object and make the client side position override the server side position (Not what we want). But at the moment before the server takes control (rubberband) you can vault an object and initiate a local vault (What we want). This local vault allows you to vault over an object and vault again when landing on the ground to get a vault cancel.
