#Request to Reconsider Village Map Changes

Hello Tacticool team,
I would like to share detailed feedback about the recent Village map rework.
After playing multiple matches on the new version, many players feel that the map has become noticeably smaller. The reduced space makes the gameplay feel overcrowded and less strategic compared to before.
One of the main problems is the lack of safe positioning. There are fewer places to hide or reset during fights, which removes a big part of the tactical aspect of the game. Instead of planning rotations, flanking, or smart positioning, matches now often turn into constant close-range fights without much room for strategy.
Additionally, because the map feels tighter, spawn pressure happens much faster. Teams can quickly push and control large portions of the map, leaving very limited options for counterplay. This creates frustration and makes the matches feel less balanced.
Many players preferred the previous version of Village because it allowed better movement, smarter positioning, and more tactical gameplay overall. The older layout felt more competitive and enjoyable.
We respectfully ask you to consider either: • Reworking the map again to increase space and add more cover
• Or restoring the previous version, which many players felt was more balanced
We truly appreciate the effort that goes into improving the game, and this feedback is shared because we care about Tacticool and want it to remain competitive and enjoyable for everyone.

Hey, in my opinion the concept of reworks should be limited to working on details and small variations, not such a drastic change to a map.

The Village map has completely changed now. The rework has been too impactful. The map is clearly much shorter now, and this is really bad.

You are adding weapons and operators with special-effect that kill instantly, and yet you think it’s a good idea to reduce the size of a map? It doesn’t make any sense at all, you have no idea how to properly work on clean gameplay where players’ skills really matter.

The game is becoming more and more a collection of random things that lead you to win matches, rather than players’ skills or teamwork.

All of this comes from your wrong development choices.

Stop, with the next reworks don’t work this way.

We haven't asked to upheave the existing maps, but for the creation of new ones!

Agreed. Lots of time and energy goes i to "reworking" maps when just as much talent could be used to generate more (new) maps.
The newest thing you guys made was the four interior rooms and a parking lot for the heist mode and it was a huge tease.
"Look guys we are making a new map"
Too bad its not even a new map

Feels like Tacticool is just saving resources by making smaller and smaller maps. Less space, less strategy, more chaos. It’s starting to feel lazy instead of competitive.
