I have been a long time player since 2019 and absolutely love this game, but the new weapon upgrade system is awful. We all know this game is pay to win, but from the perspective of a player who is willing to spend lots of money on the game, it just isn’t even remotely worth it to try any of these new weapons especially since you have to not only max it out using an exceptional amount of silver and parts, but also buy BRAND NEW mods as well. The price of mods is already very high as it is, but at the very least we should be able to use our hard earned (mostly bought) mods across all weapons in the same category. Lots of new weapons continue to be released, but I literally never see them being used because I’m sure other players feel the same way and would rather just stick to their old weapons with upgraded mods. I have put many many hours into the game since the recent updates and haven’t even seen a single player using the new smgs or shotgun. I saw some other suggestions about making upgrade tokens purchaseable and I think this would be excellent. Not only am I 100% certain that I am not the only player who used a couple tokens incorrectly and deeply regrets it, but the price to max a single gun with gold mods is already basically thousands. At least allow players the ability to copy these upgrades via a purchaseable token. The developers would still be paid, players would still need to max their weapons in the respective class to make it worth it, and much more variety would be added to loadouts and gameplay making a more fun user experience. Until something like this happens, many other players and I will be practically ignoring all future weapons and not even considering buying brand new gold mods for a weapon in the same category as another one that already has gold mods.
