The current card order is by category, but within each category the order seems rather random.
Please list them in alphabetical order, and maybe add a search box for filtering the list.

I believe it is currently structured by category (red, blue, green), then rarity (starter, common, rare, legendary, summoned cards), and then alphabetized
Though there are separate threads about other almanac suggestions in which the dev has said they're definitely revamping it in general, so we may end up getting extra sorting/searching features?

Ah, I didn't notice the rarity sort, although that's not helpful since I'm typically looking for a card by name and it's rare that I'll remember the rarity of it!

Makes sense. If they add filter/sort options so people can use it however works for them, it should resolve this! Cause I actually like how it's organized now lol

I think just having multiple sorting options in general would be the solution. Sort by rarity, type, name, etc.
