The ICBM is an amazing addition, but it cannot attack a unit or waypoint and can only programmed to turn a certain direction and explodes when it reaches space. In addition, AI aircraft cannot carry the AGM-161 and can only be ordered to launch anti-ship missiles.

A missile carrier unit with 2 variants (Team A and B) that can be programmed similar to the artillery units allows for more options on creating missions that require teams to defend strategic areas or targets. It could be ordered to fire on a unit, waypoint, or follow a path via actions in the editor. Unlike artillery projectiles, the missile could also be intercepted by defense systems, SAMs, or other aircraft.

These would be large, long range Surface-to-Surface missiles which would perhaps cover this role

Man, I was searching for anything similar but somehow missed that

#

I guess the only difference is that one is in editor features

Yes, but the idea is to have a visible missile, not rocket, that can be intercepted and adds cinematic/visual value
