#how does VTOL choose what mic is used

I'm using the quest three and i have my mic set to Steam Streaming microphone that picks up audio from my quest three and it works anywhere but in VTOL

open up the sound control panel on the top right of that page, open up recording in the sound manager and set the mic you want to use as the default communication device (set default) and restart the game if it was running already

vtol is really specific about this for some reason
