Oh.
my favorite part of the white door was the secret ending it was so good as well as the ways to find it and how it links to case 23
My favourite part was the ending and Laura's words. Maybe it all is really just in my head?~
I loved the part where Bob had to switch places with the corrupted soul, it was so unexpected hahahaha
My favorite part was getting to learn more about Laura
My favorite part is this whole game.
i loved the meaning behind the color palette. how everything is in b&w -just as the way bob perceive's them at that point of his life- and he could only see true colors while reviving certain emotions that he had pusheen away. and then in the end he stands there and sees how he became someone he doesnt want to, embraces himself and paints a new colour on his own.
My favorite part was the color part too. It was beautiful to just color the world and that part where he meets with Laura and she’s painting a bird is just so emotional and beautiful
My favorite part of the game was the ending, watching Robert Hill bring color back to his life. The song Bird by Victor Butzelaar made the moment good to appreciate and to fell. Looking at Mr. Hill's memories of Laura, the bird and Sarah. The White Door was a experience for me, more than a game. An experience that was composed of wrapping up the past events of Laura and Bob. I thank every one at the Rusty Lake team for making this game, it was cozy and chilling to play it. A true masterpiece.

My favourite part of the game was the sequence of puzzles you have to figure out in solitary, all leading to “FACE YOUR DARK SOUL.” It was a thrilling reveal to me that all the keywords form a sentence; and as no stranger to mental illnesses myself, the “Face your dark soul” message resonated and has stayed with me. I find myself thinking back on it often!
My favorite part of the white door was the lengths it went to just for a secret. The fact that they had a phone number to tell them to go to a website and then having to find secret codes all over the website just to add to the lore of the game really just got me thinking about why I love Rusty Lake in the first place, because the creators put so much time and effort into creating even the smallest details. In these games, Ive learned that every little thing means something, and I love it.
My favorite part of the game was when we needed passwords to free some characters and to get those passwords we had to solve some puzzles. This was epic.
My favorite part was probably Bob’s quiet disbelief at Laura’s death and his delivery of the line “She died?” I feel like it was the first time a rusty lake death felt serious and human. No killing each other for body parts or whatever, just a man in his apartment hearing the about the death of a loved one over the news. (This isn’t meant to say I didn’t like the other instances of death in the other games, I just found that this was an unexpectedly grounded and personal moment in such a surreal and symbolic series)
Honestly a lot of The White Door seems like a more grounded reaction to the Rusty Lakes magic
My favourite moment at The White Door is at the end of the game, bringing back color to his life. Another favourite moment was discover all the secrets in real life, listening the Mr. Owl's hypnosis, watching the instagram of the daughter of one of the doctors at The White Door (I don't remember her name) and replaying all the games searching for any clues. The entire game was beautiful, perfect, relaxing and funny.
My favourite part has got to be the ending, Bob bringing colour back into his life. And the final dream where he talks to Laura, her words stuck to me ever since I've heard them, to be honest. Also, all dreams were fantastic, I really enjoyed learning more about both Bob's and Laura's pasts. Such a great game :)
my fav part of the white door was the whole personal connection to Laura, in all the other games we have only seen her as either the final result (ie. roots, samsara) or as already dead (ie. paradox, case 23). Lately I've been really wanting a game that focuses more on Laura's story while she was alive. also hearing the voiceover for her character was really cool, I was not expecting her voice to sound like that.
My favorite moment in "The White Door" was that we got to see into Robert's (Bob's) life because we only get a teaser of him in "Case 23" and only get to here a few lines from him in "Theatre"; also lead him to his demise. However, this game lets us see as to how normal life is effected by being connected to someone from the lake, i.e. Laura.
But, I love it that Robert is being shown as representative of people who go through depression that is caused by trauma or multiple things, rather, and reaching out for help to get out of the "dark cloud" that engulfs him after learning that Laura died. Nevertheless, having him to face his dark soul self, to me, is symbolism of Robert conquering his grief and learning to remember the good things about Laura and life in general.
I'm looking for the original inspiration of TWD facility in media. Can anyone help me?
Hi, i sign up the white door petition
Well done 07
has anyone tried ||calling White Door's phone number?||
it's inactive now
Used to be a start for an arg, wasn’t it?
yep

Okey tnx
I'm pretty sure those winners already received their prizes. I'm unsure if there was an annoucement about it.
Congratulations to Cine Youjin, for winning the number one prize of The White Door’s achievement contest! It’s a silver coin you might remember from The White Door, beautifully handcrafted by Bofb. lmao sorry!
its alr hahah
can someoone help me solving the arg? (I know its already been solved) I reversed the audio in the initial video and got a code but i don't know what to do with it
why don't you check out the #the-white-door-arg-general pinned messages by rusty lake ?
there seems to be a link or two to start the arg
yep, online guides are really helpful too
Is that Sarah finally with Bob in the end of TWD?
which end are you talking about hehe
i rlly hope not bc sarah doesen't deserves him
bob is just, perfect
sarah? no, we hate her
that's one take,
Sarah never looked like a villain to me,
Remember that she freed the people in the basement during the ARG too
laura broke up with him, and we don't know how much damage bob could've / would've dealt as a corrupted soul, Sarah, without a doubt, saved many lives.
but hey, that's just a theory
he still loved laura and sarah didnt give a crap about his feelings
also laura didn't break up because she didnt like bob, she broke up with him to, yk, emma-herself
I mostly see it as Bob's past memories with Laura corrupted him, the whole the white door felt like you're experiencing story about Bob's depression pretty much. Sarah, just to make him feel better decided to remove the memories that caused the said corruption. And also, she let out people that were trapped in the basement
but again, that's also a theory
I think it'd be better if a person drop grudges.
Easier said than done tho
Sarah saved bob imo. That was the only way to save him
I mean nost of the games in the series i see as stories about dealing with trauma
And that one is about moving on
What was the ARG like? Is there any videos or documents covering it and what happened?
if i recall this chat has it all you just gotta scroll through a lot of text
the entire white door ARG category exists
all the chatting and puzzling we did can be found in those channels
oh right lmao
you can find it on appunwrapper i think
id recommend looking at the emails more carefully
and looking at whos in charge of it
I just finished playing the White Door for the fourth time, and i still have a question: WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN THAT INSTITUTE?
Seriously, i still have figured anything out!
Memory extraction/modifiying basically
There are a lot of incosistencies.
I mean, what are they really doing? Why Bob remember something every night, if he lost his memories after the shot?
Yeah, i have some problems with the timeline of events too
I think this is a #🤔|theories subject btw
I don't think, i'm only searching to understand the game, not exposing a theory.
I have a lot of question...
But honestly on ce theatre we dont know exactly what memories bob lost
The thing is, there's not one agreed upon interpretation of the games event
S
All we know is that bobs soul is corrupted, he goes to this white door facility. They experiment / medicate him, he gets cured
Theatre Is "fake", since is modified by the Lake.
Whether theatre is fake or not is definitely #🤔|theories material. Though.
@remote cipher I'm here
how?
I did the questionnaire, but sending some answers in a particular way.
I didn't think It was a normal questionnaire.
I sended some answers doing some puzzles.
I mean, the only thing i thought was the phone number, It was strange that in a game the developers have used a realistic phone number.
So i tried...
And the voice of Mr Owl had answered!!
I think It was a registred message; anyway he said to visit a site.
And it was the White Door site!!
Whit the same questionnaire that Sarah gave to Bob! But whit more question.
I used some hidden puzzles in the site to answer in determinated ways, like using the numbers of the photos.
I send It, and as i thought something happened.
I'm a bit scared.
It was just a continuation
I mean, the computer seems doing the same emergency reboot in the game!
It's required to discover the password
But who i choose? Who could be the right One?
Hoorn is
don't remember what indicates that
maybe a video about his death in 2000
RUSTY LAKE YOUTUBE CHANNEL! 🤯
I never have watched it because i hadn't played the game yet, and i completely forgot that!
For the questionnaire, i figured out by myself, but i'm stuck now.
I'm not Hoorn, how can i know the secret ingredient of his soup?
This is impossible.
I'm literally hacking, i had never thought i would have been capable to do a similar thing.
Kirsten Hoorn
Kirsten Hoorn Is a real person?
What do you mean?
don't you remember how we were supposed to find her out?
I remember she posted a photo in memory of her father
Was there something else at first?
I expect to have some more obvious lead
She commented on the initial YouTube video that RL posted.
(which gave us the name)
Yes I remember now
Btw Kirsten Hoorn, in Rusty Lake narration, is a real person living in our world (since also Rusty Lake is supposed to exist)
OK, how do i recognize his favourite tree?
the blossom is of a certain kind
It's the tree on Instagram, right? How can i know what Is its species?
I think someone wrote the answer in the comments section
Btw there aren't particular hints, you are supposed to know exactly which tree is depicted in that photo
also I suppose any ARG questions should go in #the-white-door-help if you're trying to solve it, but honestly If you're stuck it'd just peep the ARG channels if you're stuck
It's chestnut
OK, thanks.
their flowers blossom in groups that create a cone form
OK, I HAVE THE PASSWORD!
There are a lot of files.
I don't know what to do with them.
I'll tap the sign again.
But this would be an enormous spoiler, i don't want to ruin the principal game.
Are you sure i should use the Channel help?
Yes, because the entire thing has already happened
OK, boss.😁
?
Ayoooooo this game so dope
Right!?
just played it, that was SO GOOD
glad you enjoyed it!
pls help
@errant dagger please use #the-white-door-help for help, thank you

So sad that my plan doesn’t allow international calls. It would be amazing to call The White Door phone number.
AppUnrapper has a full ARG write-up
good for them!
all the OG discoveries are still in this server too
archived under TWD ARG
No way!
I didn't know this existed ! 😮
It sure does!
So sorry you are experiencing this issue with the white door! It's a known issue we're having that we're looking into fixing! You can try going into The White Door document on your device, make a copy of the save game file (.sav file) and then delete it and try launching the game once more. Also make sure your Steam overlay is enabled
can anyone explain what #the-white-door-arg-general is and about the names? are they Easter eggs in the game
Well, long story short the arg (alternate reality game) was an event that ocurred after the white door was released, ppl from all over the world united to solve a lot of puzzles and discover real places holding cubes and other stuff like that
Not really easter eggs in the game, but to solve the bonus level youll need the codes gathered from the arg, the names here on the server are from the imprisoned ppl that you save from twd basement
AppUnreapper has a full write up.
Well I do believe the A labs located in Amsterdam, I'm assuming however that the cards left behind after the cube was retrieved are gone now.
So I doubt it!
is there still something in Amsterdam in the A Lab connected to the black cube?
Probably not! They likely removed everything once the ARG was done.
not even a photo on the wall or plaque?
I mean, considering the ARG has been done for over a year, i doubt it
How can i deal the number of the chapter white door with the old phone?? Pls help me im so confused🧐
@steep dew please use #the-white-door-help for any questions!
Ok 👌🏾
Was amazing ☺️💕
quick question-- is the white door part of the storyline of the rusty lake games or no?
it is from what i know
Wasn't that Mr Owl?
both are there lol
huh
I missed that :v
mr crow is behind one of the doors when bob walked down the hallway of the building to go to his room iirc
Same, that's how I'm writing it in my fan fic
it's an achievement!
Poor Bob tho
oh true
Also, like... Do they have multiple fronts for the same operations? TWT happens like, on the week following Laura's victory royale, meaning they were running at least two mental health operations/memory extraction centers at once
then again maybe TWT is the government-subsidized one, they still have to make that dolla dolla bills yo
probably the white door but they mistyped it
i remember discussing about why there were many mental health facilities being used on #🤔|theories another day, ig different approaches were welcomed by the director
also, new story and new gameplay for us!
the white toor
idrk if hotel is still there after all these years
"What happens when the police start investigating The White Door and in order to pacify them, Mr. Owl has to give them a tour of the facility? Find out in tonight's thrilling episode, Rusty Lake: The White Tour."
HELPP
