I just finished underground blossom and suffered from regular black screens and sound failures. Restarting the game solved it every time.
I enjoyed it as al the other Rusty Lake games I've played. But torture to get information instead of puzzles is not my thing.

Every week I got people from this server adding me to friends and later try to scam me of my Discord Account.
It's kind of annoying, I'm auto banning them? but its like a regular thing. and its the same people. Can you do anything?

This is a discord wide issue, unfortunately it's common. We try to weed out bots where we can, but we need screenshot proof of an attempted scam before we can ban.

Gameplay on mobile devices is really painful, sometimes i can miss a tap and get a hit by an obstacle. So i suggest to add an additional controls, so it'd not be necessary to reach all over a screen to tap on buttons.

Hi, I hope this is the right channel to ask-I was super excited to update underground blossom, so I did, like several days ago, then my game is not working at all. First, the screen won't show properly, so I had done everything (verifying integrity of files, uninstall vaccine software etc.) then lastly uninstall the whole game then reinstalled it. Now I can hear the sound but no screen anywhere.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

This would go best in #bug-reports-old , but I can suggest going to System & Settings > Privacy & Security > Files and Folders > Underground Blossom and make sure it has access to documents, so it should be checked. Let us know if it helped !

And another mistake in the Polish translation as well. Where it says "Twój wynik", it should be something like "Twój rekord", since the original says "Your best". Although it is above "Suma" (originally "Total"), as a summary, the current translation of "Your best" suggests a summary of the last attempt, which is a bit confusing and I thought I found a bug. 😅

Today I asked a simple question where I said I found secret levels and such in 4 games and in order to not spoil it for me I simply asked is there anymore games with secret levels or anything in them, a simple yes or no question, I received no help and was told to just find it on my own which was a bit annoying especially on a bad day so I simply responded that the server wasn’t helpful and I was immediately muted with zero warning or explanation, when I was unmuted I asked why I was and was told I’m inviting drama and when I asked how because I’m still not sure I was told if I keep talking I’ll get muted for 24 hours, when another member of the community sent a message which actually helped me a lot more than the response from mods, their message was deleted and they were sent a warning for helping someone else, is that not what a chat is for, for the community to discuss and help each other, overall I think moderation is too strict and slightly overboard

As for finding a player on this server: be sure to be proactive, join the notification roles in #🤼｜tpw-roles and be sure to ping them every so often in #🔍｜tpw-looking-for-player channel. Have you also considered asking someone you know irl to play with you?

It may take a while to find a player 2, but I can speak from experience that new players pop up quite often.

Please consider having separate submission and voting phases for art comps so everyone has the same amount of views regardless how late into the window they post. You could do this easily by temporarily turning off reaction perms in that channel during submission phase and turning them back on after a voting announcement. (I know i've mentioned this before in the cabin, i'm just putting it here as an official suggestion). Obviously that only works for discord comps, you could also do it with multi platform comps if you used a google form (though i'm not sure if that works with animations which you've been getting a few of for big comps lately)

We can only click to numbers and same with the clock. once you mis clicked you have to click many times again which is annoying and time waste. also there's little bug on the green case, you can click under the numbers and you'll still be able to change them. Related to the contests;
Most of the contests, as far as I know, have been related to art, if we exclude some other puzzles, like the Christmas Puzzle.
In my opinion, not everyone has the ability to create art (including myself).
Thats why I thought about making a different kind of contest, where you only need to play the game. One example can be a speedrun challenge (this is the only one I can think about), or other challenges related to playing the games.

Forgive me if this has been said on the server before, but I noticed something oddly specific in one of the games! In Cube Escape: The Cave, one of the puzzles involves communicating with an anglerfish using morse code. All of the letters are accurate to real morse code, except for the K.

The code for K in-game is "--.-"
But the proper code for K is "-.-"
What was used in the game was actually the morse code for Q.

I was wondering if it was maybe intentional, or a regional thing, or just a small mistake. Not requesting anything to be patched or fixed, just pointed out something I thought was funny!

I like how recently the achievments get to be extra puzzle to figure out instead of random tapping or searching, and that' s why i dislike UB' s ones. I think ARG stuff should be an extra rabbit hole you would be wanting to jump into by yourself, without ruining your achievments board. However i understand there wouldn' t be much to do about this, because of the insane amount of data inserted in the game for this purpose. But the mask is worse. Locking a prize behind an online post indefinitely seems unfair to me, so i suggest you could add the code for the box in Soul Street somewhere in the game, making it accessible for every hunter. I liked what you did for Samsara room' s secret, when after some time the symbols for obtaining the shrimp were made available directly in app for a simple little trick. I think you should do the same for the mask in UB, since that achievment isn' t related to the ARG! I may even have a suggestion for a puzzle if you guys are interested.

Yeah, I do much prefer the achievements in MRMS than in UB, considering how all the missable non-social-media achievements in UB were just "spam click this random object". Hunting for the ||cards|| in this new game was actually fun and something I enjoyed doing; especially with all the genuinely clever puzzles to get some of them...

And I do think it could have been made clearer in UB that the bottom row of achievements all require outside information, I think it feels a bit unfair to spend a long time looking for those achievements only to find out that they're impossible to get without going online

Speaking of achievements, please bring actual colors back to the achievement icons 🙏 They look better in profile showcases and are easier to distinct

I know that the "black and white" looks less distracting in the in-game achievements section from UB and TPW since there are a lot of them, but Paradise had them too while the achievement icons had actual drawings and stuff! Same for Paradox

And I believe sometimes people miss an achievement like this one and have no idea what it is supposed to be about

Dear Rusty Lake, in case you haven't finished the main story of Servant of The Lake I'd like to ask 1 thing on behalf of hardcore players and achievement hunters.

It's only natural that in the end of the game our beloved VanderBros will find the elixir. However showing it might undermine Rusty Lake: Roots, notably its incredible secret post-game prologue. Especially if unchanged.

I hope you'll be able to pull out something like you did in The White Door: different perspectives on the iconic scenes, revealing new things but hiding others, so only seeing both of them would give a full picture. Only this time the reveal in Roots is much bigger and thus more delicate.

PS.
I also hope you will explain what Mr. Crow meant by "Fate of Rusty Lake lies in this small seed". Does he know the future? How much of it? Why didn't he write down the elixir formula so he wouldn't have to drink some dog shit extract to survive in the future?

hello!! I just wanted to share my thoughts about the game. I've been playing a lot of games since I was little, and even if there's a lot of games that I like, Rusty Lake is still my favorite. I first played Rusty Lake Theater with my dad, and then I started playing the Cube Escape games on my own, replaying and memorizing them as I couldn't affort for Hotel, Roots and Paraside, but now I can!! I've grown with Rusty Lake, I started playing it when I was 8, I'm 16 years old now, and it has always inspired me deeply, as I used to draw and base my art classes in lake drawings with Mr. Crow and Harvey.
I would like to thank every single one of the persons that are part of Rusty Lake, thank you for being a source of inspiration and a place of great memories. Even if I've been in this server since 2021 and hadn't got the chance to interact that much, I still will look forward to every project Rusty Lake creates, for another 10 years even!! ♡

Started playing both mr rabits magic show one and that cube game yesterday, even paid for chapter 2 - they’re really well made, and so grateful for that walkthrough. If I didn’t have that, I’d probably be stuck xd

I just feel like it feels odd ending chapter two like that, felt like it was pushing up to a chapter 3.

But the games feels kinda short, the first one I finished on 113 minutes and the other 53 minutes, I did expect it to be a little more in chapter two, but i love the end plot twist!!

Mr rabits magic show also felt kinda short, but it’s understandable out from the celebration.

Beside from that super happy with finding these games, was definitely a lot of fun entertainment for a night!:D

What I liked
• The music, as always, set the mood perfectly. Victor always rocks.
• I LOVED the background with the classic Johan painting used in a different and more immersive way. Also the more realist Mr. Crown, Willian and that new person(Aldous's wife?)??? So cool!!!
• Bob as always such a good voice for Mr. Crown.
• The Vanderboom's house is incredible, I can't wait to see more of it and. I hope we see again the places in Roots.
• I love the appearance of the classics like the matches and the disembodied hand.
• I loved seeing another cat in the franchise.
• I had a good laugh at my inability to write a good signature (and I tried twice!!).
• I loved taking care of Aldous.
• I love seeing this moment in their lives and can't wait to see what happened during that time. I suspect we'll meet Mr. Owl and won't survive this encounter.
• I was really intrigued with the guests and servants.

What I didn't like
• The puzzles are too easy, but understandable for a demo and for it to be just the beginning of the game.
• Sad it's such a short demo!
• The recent games tend to lag slightly. This isn't common and isn't particularly annoying, but it's noticeable. The demo lags slightly when we're outside of the house.

I believe that players should and can enjoy the mysteries of the games at their own pace and in their own ways, actively choosing when and if partecipanting more or less actively in the community. Therefore i feel the thread channel in #🤔｜theories isn' t assuring a fair and secure experience for all kinds of players, since apparently the main channel becomes off-limits once even demos become "old" at the turn of the month. If the players really are free to enjoy their final experiences as they want while eventually liking to theorize on older releases, then i believe that demos' content to discuss about should still be restricted in the thread until the final game comes out to respect any potential kind of decision. That is unless, of course, the user would like to discuss about older releases while referencing the newest facts, in which case spoilering the sensitive parts would be enough. It' s comprehensible that there must be a time limit to the "curfew", but i think it should be reminded that the reason for its existence is to respect every player' s level of spoiler-toleration for the actual games. This doesn' t bring any kind of limitation to "early birds", so to speak, since there are no limits in their dedicated thread.

For TPW, possibly UB and other future OSTs on Steam:

•Issue: The music player plays the "wrong" music. When selecting song 2, it will play song 11, song 3 -> 12, etc
•Reason: In the files, all songs from 1 to 9 are numbered as 1 to 9 instead of 01 to 09, so Steam recognizes 1 as 10 and 11 as the next song
•Solution: Add a 0 to all songs file names numbered from 1 to 9

I played Dark Dome series, The Forgotten Hill series, Strange Case series and The Rusty Lake series.

I must say that out of all those games, Rusty Lake is my biggest favourite and it has given me comfort and a little bit of horror is fine for me. I repeatedly played Rusty Lake which is free and not paid (as I am unable to pay in order to download the game) this made me daydream about me being part of the game or me being one of the characters from the Rusty Lake series, that is, either being a Detective or most importantly, fantasying about me being a member of a group, where drinking an elixer would turn me into an animal and cooperate with them.

If I were to have a lot of money, I would have paid a huge amount of money to the people creating Rusty Lake series which I normally won't do that to every paid game, created by other communities or other companies.

So in conclusion, I didn't see any disadvantage of Rusty Lake series and therefore, I would give it 5 Stars❤️❤️

Hello, somewhat new fan here, I recently tried the Swedish translation of the Rusty Lake games since it isn't common (that I know of) for games to have that. Anyway, all I wanted to say is that the games I've played so far are well translated (well done to the one who did that), but the only problems I have are the occational typos, as well as this mistranslation (which I screenshotted), Mr Crow is here referred to as "Herr Vildsvin" which is the localised name of Mr Boar, the correct name which is used in the rest of the game and the series should be "Herr Kråka", by the way. This might be stupid to fix, but it is a mistake I've noticed.

I think there are settings or perhaps roles that can be applied to customize what kind of notifications you get and what you want to be involved in with updates.
Similarly you can also pick and choose what channels you are interested in and basically turn off the rest.

You can also just mute the server as a whole to lesson the notification noise

Hello, has anyone ever considered having a few foreign language text channels in here?

Like, one chinese (since there are so many chinese fans of the game), one japanese due to the tokyo event, one portuguese because we have a fair share of brazilian / portugal fans (and i have a bit of evidence to it) and so on.

Doesn't have to be a lot of them, just like five different languages or something.

I know this makes it harder for moderation, but you guys could just assign one person that speaks both english and the language to be a moderator. Someone you either trust already or seems trustworthy after a bit of interview, i don't know.

The thing is, if we had a portuguese channel, it'd be easier for me to invite some friends for the fanbase.

I had an idea for another game. You are taking inspiration from history, So why not try history of Greek gods like Eros and Apollo. Many of the Greek gods have names most Americans wouldn’t immediately recognize them by such as these two examples. Besides this side of history is already deeply intwined with horror and most times death.

Tbh Greek Mythology is my least favourite as it gets very repetitive, I still enjoy it and listen to it in Myths and Legends but it's basically all self fullfilling prophesies, Zues sexually assaulting someone, Hera getting angry at the someone, the resulting child is punished, child becomes some kind of hero and marries a princess, then usually becomes corupt somehow, dies.
