As for what happened, Vet theorized that he may been nearly hit by a car, since wounds are just scratches (not so deep though, thankfully)

My sister's puppy,Max, is facing the right thing too Rainy Amy, he has been cone free for a spell, they left him in a vet, last time saw him was yesterday, but the previous time, we visited with him. Was he had this brace on his neck. his paw was chewed through had a sock around his foot, almost like a hypnotic subconsciousness for puppies, like how we used to suck our thumbs when we where children.

Dw, but this is going to be last written (text wise) update on Dale:
- me and my mom figured out he could've gotten onto trap for wild animals (which here are illegal to place) plus he had claws on his injured paw, which shows that he tried to break away by biting/scratching metal trap.
- Because vet saw that they gotta remove dead skin, they told us that Dale will stay there for a week, since he doesn't even wants to drink and eat much

I'd adopt one from a rescue center because 80% of the time there's nothing wrong with the snakes and lizards in there, their previous owners just get tired of caring for them for one reason or another
