You see in the entire isnāt a character within the exception of sans and flowey that is aware that you can reset the game and time and can break the 4th wall
Now unlike flowey sans is more aware that he is in a game and he understands what the player is whereas everyone else is not aware of any of that and treat the player as a normal character like them but sans is ooc and knows all about determination and that you can jump to another timeline after dying
Now whatās also interesting about sans is that he is completely polarized to the player , the player has a lot of determination so he can understand about timelines and stuff because he can do that whereas sans has the least amount of determination
So these things at first would make the fan intrigued and then will start liking sans and then after that obsessing about him
Further more he is the hardest enemy in the game despite having one health because unlike the other characters he breaks the rules of the rpg and actually is able to dodge
So it is understandable why would the fandom obsess over sans and forget about the other characters
