sure, they have pluses like you can tell things easily than do it in person
but like you say - you don't want to make her stay up late, since she usually sleeps at 22
If distance isn't really large then maybe, and it all also depends of timezone so
but don't worry, one of my Polish friends has boyfriend which comes from Brazil ( so distance from Poland and Brazil is pretty being tbh )

before I did drift off to sleep, I heard noises upstairs
of course above me there's attic, and I really felt weird and scared at the same time, like something or someone was possibly scattering stuff there
Being honest, it could always be one of my sisters making noise, but the noise scared me so much that I just kind of hide my face under the cover

I got nice rude early in the morning wake up call
...one of my rats somehow got out of the cage and was running around the room, until he jumped on my bed and of course woke me up
I quickly catched him and got him back into the cage. I don't know how long he has been going around the room
but also, my sisters cat was sleeping in the same damn room, but I'm glad my rat is alright
