Transformers: Prime to be specific. It was my favourite show as a kid and i re-opened it again few years later... then binge read all books and now am striving for more
Movies aren't really good and fandom just makes fun of them
TFP is considered one of the best series in the franchise
And for good reasons. It has more mature themes and it uses it's limitations as bonuses
And, well... They have a consistent plot with little to no holes in it and what's may not be too clear is explained in great detail in books
I do enjoy complicated plot and character development(one of character arcs is literally overcoming PTSD) and TFP offers both and in great mature tone when the cartoon was originally made for kids
You have no idea how far a kids show about robots can go with violence. usually when you watch child cartoons you're never worried about the characters' safety. Here you're squeezing into the chair every time stuff gets real
