Okay so the theory is
Cloud, areith, and sephiroth can see future events
Cloud can see the least
Aerith can see more but not all
Sephiroth can see everything
The lead theory is something to do with the lifestream, people are speculating the OG Aerith in the lifestream is giving remake Aerith information about future events, but not everything
She says stuff in the game like, "don't fall in love with me" and "there's a bigger threat than Shinra", which supports this theory
For Cloud he can see visions of future events
The most notable example for this theory is in the Rebirth trailer
"He wants to finish what he started"
Cloud: "I saw you lying there, I figured it was too late"
Aerith: "what are you implying, that i died, that i'm some kind of imposter?"
Cloud "You were here with me, 5 years ago, where are you, what happened to you?"
Aerith: "I'm trying to find you?"
Cloud: "Sorry, it feels like I failed you before"
So by that it indicates that Cloud saw that Aerith died which happens during what Rebirth would tell in the OG game
And that Aerith doesn't know despite her seeing some future events
It would also explain why Aerith is so fixated on the future
Also some of the big changes from the OG and the remake because I think they'd be cool to share
Zack is alive in FF7R, in the original games timeline he's dead
Jessie, Wedge, and that other one I never can remember the name from, are all alive after the events of Midgars collapse, well Jessie we didn't actually see but it's implied she lived, in the original they all died there
Roche is a completely new character
Red XIII seems a lot more relevant

You know, this also makes me wonder if we might get a crossover between ff7 and ffxiv? I mean there are something going on in the world of 7, so maybe Sephiroth might get involved in the xiv universe.

I keep thinking I don't wanna see spoilers for future stuff but then I'm like "dude it's gonna take a million years for them to come out" haha. But yeah I really liked FF7R.
I'm interested to see more about Zach, he seems like a cool dude
Also yeah when she was like "don't fall in love with me" I was like well too late there, dude seems pretty smitten.

Square going the route is good change up. I enjoy the original FF7 but remake is good. Can they see the future not really but multi-verse were timeline has been altered by Sephiroth. If only Sephiroth knew true about his real mom might have not been so crazy 😝
The ending to remake could just be cloud stuck in his broken state when he got mako poisoning badly. Cloud been mako poisoned many times now and cloud had to piece himself together with Tifa help
