A shopping place near the spawn, adding life, filling the emptiness.

A place, kinda like a village "marketplace" ("meeting point" in the Minecraft official Wiki) where players could own a shop or something like that, where they can trade things like ressources or blocks for (example) emeralds, diamonds or other things...
Motivation : I feel like the spawn is really empty, there is no life, nothing appealing, it's a bit depressing.
Adding a market, a meeting point, or just something inspiring where people can just go and be safe (no pvp, no mobs...) to discuss, or just be there, all of that would really help to make the first step towards a living place, a living server. It would encourage new players to invest themself, and even maybe giving them a goal, like owning their shop !
It's just an idea thrown like that, but I really feel that the spawn is missing the most important.

All of that join the Cerber's suggestion of "Spawn region improvement", and even if it's cool that a platform was added, I think that in can be improved further away.

In fact, the marketplace idea was just a placeholder for me to explicit my feeling about filling that spawn. It could be just a little thing, like spawning a vanilla village in there.
But it would add so much.

I understand the desire to make the spawn region feel less deserted and more populated. While you already can freely build shops or other buildings outside of the spawn protection zone (as you've already done with the museum, lol), the spawn protection zone is quite big, and I would support some player-inviting structures in that area. However, I would want these structures to be small (like the village marketplace Kobra posted an image of) and not skyscrapers, and I also want spawn to still feel very natural (so no entire cities built on the area).
If you (or other active server players) want to contribute to adding buildings in the spawn region, you could do it like this: Build your desired structure somewhere outside spawn protection and notify me or another admin where within the spawn zone (coordinate-wise) you want it placed; then we, as the server admin team, can decide if we also like that structure at that position and can just copy-paste it there via WorldEdit.

Previous worlds of the server had a marketplace and city at spawn. They eventually got really crowded and people would still leave after building some ugly little box
