i agree, but when every explanation shows that there would be no problem adding them and it would be accurate, as said 1 million women fought for North Vietnam. and someone still doesnt want them, theres only 1 explanation left.
if someone complained about adding black soldiers to the vietnam setting even tho they made up a big portion of US troops and it was the first war where whites and blacks fought together in the same units, what would you call that?

Yes, and many of those "1 million women" (controversial number by the way because there's practically no sources to cite) weren't serving on the frontline but were drivers, medics or engaged with logistics. So, again, a minority that would feel overrepresented.
Not saying it can't be done, but the game wouldn't miss out on anything if there were only men.
