New bug going around where your guy doesn’t even attempt to load a shell. Previously, it would just load a ghost shell where you’d have to get off the gun and back on. But now, he’s not even trying to load a shell.

It was the final 10 minutes of the game. I built the gun and was literally unable to play. I even redeployed twice, left the squad and recreated it once. Nothing worked.

I can confirm this bug is still in the game after 19.1 update. All of the sudden I was not able to reload the gun.

I was initially in the same squad that built the gun. Then I redeployed and opened a new artillery squad. I was able to shoot one already loaded shell but unable to reload afterwards. I asked another player who was able to reload and shoot which fixed it for me.

One other player have just reported me he was unable to reload the gun after 30 shots. He redeployed due to some keyboard issue and was unable to reload afterwards.

Is REDEPLOYING somehow causing this?

Either way this is something that happened on Day 1 of U19.1 release after a few minutes of gameplay. I believe this issue was first reported in December with U19 release.

They don't read this forum nor the feedback reports. They would otherwise already know.

Another issue is that the player can keep reloading the gun with the same ammunition type even when the gun is already loaded. It does not consume the ammo. It seems to only re-run the animation. I have not tested whether it disables another player from shooting.

I can see that you were not even able to jump into the reloading animation which was not the case for me. I was able to enter the reloading animation but it never loaded the shell saying "EMPTY" after the animation finished.

I see where you're trying to reload but it keeps flashing "switch seats". Keybinding issue?

Have also experienced the bug where the arty gun cannot be reloaded, as recent as yesterday. On PC.

Arty engi built arty gun was in use (Arty support gunner, arty engi reloader). Both left the gun for a short period, this included some deaths. Arty gun was unable to be reloaded again, it does the reload animation, doesn't load, there are rounds available. Same squad, same gun, different gunner (arty SL), same reloader (arty engi). Arty SL also tried reloading, wouldn't work.
We were going to try dismantling and rebuilding but didn't get the opp, or to do further testing. Would be interesting if it worked with the same arty support gunner.

On another occasion, different match/day, an arty player from the other arty squad tried to use the HQ built static arty gun, and they couldn't reload. I had built the arty gun, but switched to SPA, swapped back to the same static arty gun and I could reload and shoot. The other arty squad player could then jump on the gun and reload for me.

There's another bug, where the reloader can infinitely load the arty gun after its been loaded, this prevents the gunner from shooting, doesn't use a round since there's one in the gun, but it's a pain. This is separate to the first issue.

To fix this you have to die while reloading. Throw a grenade up in the air and start reloading. It fixes it. Temporary fix
