I have read about the new upcoming update with Conquest mode. We do not really need this. game mode.

We need the following:

1) Better map balance for competitive play

Right now, only a few maps feel consistently balanced for serious matches, such as:

Utah Beach
Sainte-Mère-Église (SME)
Sainte-Marie-du-Mont (SMDM)
Carentan

They are also the most played maps on public game? No coincidence.
If most maps feel one-sided, competitive teams and new serious players lose interest quickly.

What would help:

Rework objective placement and sector layouts on weaker maps
Balance spawn routes and terrain advantages
Create a “competitive ruleset” version of maps ( Mortain cap zones)

**2) Performance issues on some maps **

Performance is a huge barrier to player growth. Smolensk is a good map but not played as much due to the poor performance
If a map like Smolensk runs badly (low FPS, stutters, poor optimization), players will avoid it or quit entirely — especially newer players who don’t already love the game.

What would help

Prioritize optimization passes for heavy maps (Smolensk first)
Reduce stutter and frame drops in dense areas
Improve consistency across hardware (not just high-end PCs)

3) Stronger matchmaking / ranked support

A lot of players want fair matches, not random stomps.
People are making rankings of stats like www.HLLrecords.com

Ideas:

Ranked or skill-based playlists
Better team balancing between rounds
Role/commander experience tracking (not just total level)

4) Better new-player onboarding

The game is amazing, but hard to learn.

New players often leave because they don’t understand:

garrisons / outposts
supplies
map flow
roles and squad communication

Ideas

Interactive tutorial for infantry, support, engineer, SL, commander

“recommended role for beginners” system
Heck let low level players their first level with bots

5) Competitive / tournament tools

To grow the comp scene, the game needs better support for organizers and teams.

Ideas:
Spectator improvements, already improved
Match replay/demo system
Server presets for competitive rules
Easier admin tools and logs

6) Patch quality and consistency

Competitive players stay when the game feels stable and trustable.

Important:
Fewer updates that break performance

Why can’t we have both? I love all of your suggestion, but I’m also looking forward to playing conquest. If it plays well it could bring new life to comp.
