#Remove SPA Spawn Destruction

I don't know if anyone is still reading this or if I should post in suggestions, but:

SPA's need to be adjusted to not destroy spawns. Commander arty was adjusted the same way after release and is in a good state. SPA's are a strong alternative to static arty (and personally, I would rather SPA be the only arty, rather than static arty), but the potential for spawn destruction can become unbalanced.

Comp rulesets (please don't flame, not just a comp suggestion) have considered banning static arty in favor of implementing SPA's, but testing has shown SPA's potential to wipe outposts is too strong to move forward with such a change at the moment.

SPAs are already very weak. I am not in favor of weakening them further. OP destruction is the only thing they have going for them right now.

Too strong in what way? Does it create a stalemate because it's too easy to defend with it, or is it too powerful to defend against?

Would love to see some SPAs in comp streams honestly.

I was first advocating for allowing SPA in ECL tournament but must admit that it is already painful for the infantry enough getting splashed by HQ arty, tanks and now 3 AT rockets. Having SPA with the same splash as HQ arty and removing OPs is absolutely nuts especially in high skill matches where all elements of the gameplay are being fully utilised. Let's see what arty changes they announce this Friday

Went from 3 arty guns to 1 mobile tank arty, commander x 3 aoe arty and soon to be you can build a arty gun anywhere in the first 2 rows HLLBomb

They already nerfed the SPA into the ground. A shell of what it once was leave it be lol

It's really really hard for T17 to reflect and remove or rework features they've implemented. Truth be told they should start looking in to hiring a new game director. The GD might be good for other projects but I don't think the GD has the right sense of what this game needs and where it should be headed. HLL:V seems to be a complete copy pasta of HLL. Not really any new ideas nor improvements of the core mechanics...
