This can be clearly seen here in two videos accessed from different regions.

I have already tried everything to rule out the problem on my end.

#

connection from germany to Frankfurt.
Packets are sent to the game server.
No response for a few seconds, then error “Connection to host lost.”

#

same connection from New York to Frankfurt.
Packets are sent to the game server.
No response for a few seconds, then error “Connection to host lost.”

#

It should therefore not be a local DNS problem.

#

What else I tried locally:

  1. Checked the internet connection and restarted the router and PC.
  2. Cleared the DNS cache with cmd ipconfig /flushdns.
  3. Updated drivers.
  4. Checked the integrity of the game files in Steam.
  5. Checked whether Windows Firewall and antivirus software allow Hell Let Loose and EasyAntiCheat.
  6. Synchronized the Windows time.
  7. Tested access to game servers from different regions.
  8. netsh winsock reset Winsock network interface reset to default state. (restarted PC)
  9. Informed the server operator.
  10. Feedback U19 T17

What else could be tested?

After deactivating the ExitLag service, it was possible to connect to the game server.
ExitLag always worked before Hotfix 2.
Access continues to work without any problems on some servers, but on others it no longer works at all.
However, this problem currently exists.
For whatever reason... ExitLag and Qonzer have received tickets.

Perfect, we were able to isolate and fix the problem together with Qonzer. This means that the problem has also been fixed for all ExitLag customers.
