#Suggestion for Warfare game mode and Utility of classes

More of a suggestion than a question. Inspired to put this here after a good convo with a fellow in #messhall

For HLLV I think a system that encourages the use of medics would be great. IE; Ticket system of some sort and a more immersive healing system. Damaged limbs that impair movement, immersive bandaging visuals, splints, saline admin, the ability to establish Casualty Collection Points for MEDIVAC/CASEVAC, etc…

For warfare. Having the ability to create COPS (Combat Outposts) that gives your team the ability to capture sectors and not just 1 distinct capture point. So essentially creating your own capture points to make the frontline truly dynamic. Would encourage the use of all Roles in the game and really polish up the experience for players, encourage Voice chat, and would really just remedy so many issues that current players have.

That’s my TED talk. Just some stuff I feel would really make this game blow up.

Oh, and please. Make it so the jungle goes up in flames from Napalm. Would be so disappointed if trees and structures didn’t set ablaze from Fire bombs. Would restrict access to avenues of approach and make warfare extremely dynamic. Please tell me yall have already planned this? This is my question portion of the post so I don’t get chewed out for using this post wrong.

Relatively that makes no sense. Tickets is a way that represents “Lives or Human bodies in the battle space”

IRL Companies or battalions of troops are not unlimited. There’s only a certain amount of people before forced tactical withdrawal becomes a real thing.

HLL doesn’t need to “show the tickets” it can just be like a % of troops remaining sort of deal. Doesn’t even need to be displayed. Can just be an internal system. But units can’t just fight forever with no repercussions

For a start, tickets or similar are just unsatisfying to play with. Oh, we have 20 lives left... I guess I'll just not play the game because the optimal choice to make now is to not spawn... Fun...

HLL is separated from something like squad and battlefield because death isn't punished mechanically, only tactically. That is the difference between HLL and most other shooter games which includes tickets. You are rewarded in HLL for risks, instead of punished.

Plenty of teams have won games with less kills than the opponents, because we're not overly punished by death but rewarded by the space we can take. Tickets reduce tactical and strategic plays, because now your best way to win is to farm kills. Dominant teams are already rewarded with quick victories by a clear and obvious method, win 5-0. Tickets are an abstract concept which does not fit the gameplay

This would encourage medics to do their jobs instead of people just giving up and respawning. Leading to a more tactical and realistic game flow
