I don’t even understand how people are playing the game in this state on playstation. I would expect every single server to be completely. I miss this game - these needs to be fixed asap.

Yeah, I played on 4k before this disastrous update and the difference is mind boggling.

Same - I haven’t tried since the update came out. Was already surprised a hotfix took this long…even more surprised that the hotfix didn’t FIX anything.

Context is absolutely needed.

Provide images or nobody can tell you if what you are experiencing is "bluriness", "LODS" or the dynamic resolution mentioned in the hotfix.

Just claiming "not fixed" is so silly, get your evidence out and prove it otherwise the devs can't help you in the slightest with the issue.

The issues have been improved a lot as far as I can tell.

Btw, photos won't show the problem as clearly as trying it yourself. The game was running on 4k, now it's on 720p with low graphics. That's the problem

Still got some blurryness on PlayStation.

Ive tested both Xbox and PlayStation post hotfix, still quite a difference between the 2 but when you’re screen record it everything appears fine 🤦‍♂️

It’s like PlayStation has permanent motion blur turned on even if it’s selected off in the settings

The only thing silly would be for me to send in a screenshot of the exact same type of blur two weeks in a row. Context is not needed, they didn’t fix the problems they said they fixed in the hotfix. It should not be my job to continuously screenshot things and send them in when they have a dev team who could be using their own PlayStation to work out the problems themselves. I play video games, they make them.

If I made mistakes like this at work, I would be fired.
A hotfix that didn’t fix anything. And now what? Another week or two of waiting?
This way, through a lack of competence, you’re killing the game’s community as well as the game itself. It’s terrifying how unprofessional you are.

The community isn’t here to find your bugs, report them, etc. Maybe we should fix them for you too?
You have a team that, as it seems, isn’t even capable of properly testing an official hotfix you want to release.

I think the annoyed responses are not directed towards Ben but T17. However, Ben is the messenger of some absolutely ridiculous takes by T17 which do not deserve much more than what is received now.

I’ve played many games over the years and I’ve never seen a developer ruin a game by a patch update this badly. I’ve seen some bad games from the initial development but to mess up a game this bad with an update is crazy. I’ve also seen some crazy balance / gameplay updates that have ruined a game, but to break something so fundamental as graphics of a whole game is WILD to me.

Since the last update T17 (Ben) have said that they tested it on ps5, saw nothing and asked the players to provide proof that the game is ruined on PS5. I do not believe that they tested it thoroughly before publishing it, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt on that. They then follow this by providing a ”hotfix” that fixed nothing. I give them the benefit of the doubt the first time but now I do not believe they properly tested this on ps5 before shipping it. I honestly can’t think of any other reason for dropping a hotfix that does not fix the issue.

The game is now broken after the newest patch and its hotfix for all PS players and it is VERY clear to anyone playing the game. T17 (Ben as the messenger) then comes to the discord asking players if they are using the same monitor as before (?😅). I definitely understand the snapping at the messenger when the comments T17 have about all this are absolute bogus.

Oh well. I guess the game is just gone and T17 want us to be hyped for HLL Vietnam.

I’ve personally already started moving on from this game which I never thought I would do because it’s all I played. Honestly every update has been garbage no one ask for. New maps either run at 10fps or I crash on them constantly. My buddies on Xbox said they aren’t going to buy the game when it leaves game pass and I don’t blame them.

I mean whole buildings derender beyond 300m on most maps now.

Tankers have been saying for ages that derendering has been a huge issue. You basically can see a tank out in the open, but can't shoot it.

For example, drive to the top of Mont Halais and look down towards the axis HQs. Have a friend drive a tank along the hedge lines. You'll see them clear as day. But you can't shoot them.

Derendering assets is an awful idea and should be addressed asap.

But yes. I think the solution they came up with for performance was to remake assets that just disappear beyond 300m... Which makes actually playing the game really not great.

As Ben saw in our tank game last night. You land a good shot, but impact something you can't see.

I'm very fortunate to have got the game one of the best games I've ever played free with playstation plus, therefore I've bought all the dlc's to help support the game, but on every update they produce it's just getting worse. Unfortunately hll Vietnam I don't think I can get behind them, I have no faith and won't waste my money.
Another big issue, They make the tanks stronger, which is great, then next update the load out of anti tank gets more rockets, what's the point. Clueless.

Do the devs think we are stupid, like we wouldn’t notice they cut the resolution in half in U19 then Say they was fixing it, take a whole week, drop and update and it not actually be fixed, just the slightest of slightest improvements ! Did they honestly play test it before the patch and think that was an acceptable fix !

Unfortunately it's another developer who releases an update clearly without testing it. They simply cannot have tested it from the amount of feedback coming thru.

Best bet would be to roll back and try again in a few months once they have actually tested it. Trying to fix it and leaving people hanging is discouraging people from looking forward to hll Vietnam

Played multiple maps with different weather and day/night settings. PS5 is still pixilated and the hotfix did not fix the graphics at all. Every time you raise the rifle to look down the sights the trees bushes terrain all does this quick shuffle like it’s trying to come into focus. It changes the trees bushes terrain color from green to black.

So yeah. Not so Hot Fix.

Fix all the patches with several consoles on several different monitors/TV's

Then re roll out the update once everything is fixed

@fallen pivot in the spirit of trying to be constructive. It now seems to be slightly better when standing still. When you move however, it's just as bad as it was before.

Enabling and disabling motion blur doesn't seem to make a difference either.

I appreciate the message @quaint viper and co. As a team we want this resolved ASAP. From my latest understanding the devs have identified the issue and are working hard to get a fix put in that does not impact performance or other aspects of the game. I am hopeful that early next week we will have a fix for you as we don't want this going on longer if we can help it. As and when I get more information I will let you all know.
