Decided to try it despite everything.

First game. First. Game. Max nodes. 26 kills with my shells and taking point with my shells. I ran out. Commander refused to refill the gun and then wasted the ammo on the half a** arty strikes and all pressure was lost and flushed out of whole sector.

The arty ability is a huge joke. They just drop it thinking it gets bunches of kills but all it does is randomly hit and force everyone to stop moving. It won’t hit anything but friendlies if they move in and by the time they do the defense has always reinforced because the ability. Real artillery is fast and accurate which why those who are actually good make a difference.

No other position in the game is manipulated by command. Have to realize most your games are inept blues who don’t know what they’re doing & first game tried showed the massive flaw in the design. Officially uninstalled. 😕

yeah if you get a commander that does not understand the refilling of ammo, there is no arty the whole game after you run out of ammo. We cannot disamntle the gun and build a new one, or do anything else to refill the gun. Usually the issues seems to be that the commander does not understand this feature at all, nor understands the cost. I had two commanders tell me he could not use the feature at all, but i believe that was because they just did not have enough munitions, and didnt bother looking how much munition it costs and how much they have. The game just wont let you sue the ability and does not communicate clearly to the cmdr that he is lacking munition.
