  • At the start of the game the commander will choose which battlegroup to choose for this match (To see if it is specific to him or for the entire game for this role)

  • The image is just an exemple ( can add alot of variety like subfaction, weapon, emplacements, new tanks, more cheaps stuff )

I think that this would change the whole game meta and add alot of strategy and variety of gameplay overall + add new players, bring back hold veteran player.

I would like to know if this could be something that could be incorporated into the game.

I think that the game mechanic of battlegroup " Company of heroes " can be very inspired into hell let loose and be a game that stand out from other fps sim games

So what would the Commander actually gain from selecting some Battlegroup?
Some weapons for themselves? certain tanks he can drop?
Would those things all dissappear when the commander gets switched midgame?
/edit: yeah no, this is not gonna be a thing. You dont even have the content for this concept to barely start. If HLL Had four times its content, you could start thinking about something like this.
And even then, I cant see the playerbase have fun with the idea that a random guy that went commander, gets to decide what loadouts/weaponry is available for their side. Just means people will try to votekick commander asap.

This should depend on the map and not be up to a player. I would be weird if map like kursk who are obviously a tank battles get to be a infantry battle.
Also the balancing would be hell
