Can Devs add Smaller Map Variations which can be added to the map rotation list server side.

These smaller maps would help build and accommodate smaller clans which do not have large member counts to seed and successfully populate a 100 player server. we see in hll only a handful of clans are able to seed 100player servers and these clans are mostly seeding farms with extreme member counts.

Having smaller maps would accommodate smaller clans running servers with player counts of 25 v 25.
This would allow smaller clans to seed and build their community on their own private server, ( and intern sell more server licences for the game and more profit for HLL)

Also allowing communities to grow adding value to the game.

These maps are optional and configured server side by the server owner so it wont effect the over all game as other servers can run the large maps and 50v50 games.

the other game mode in hll wasnt successful please make smaller maps of the current mode.

(there's no such thing as "selling server licenses", the only ones making money off of server rentals are the providers, not the developer)

So the game developers create a closed market and give their software away for free so other companies can make money instead of releasing the server files publicly?

Server providers offer smaller player count servers but they don’t attract as much attention.

There's a lot of complications that come with releasing the server files publicly. It makes exploiting the progression system arbitrary, and you lose any sort of control over what servers pop up, which has been necessary to deal with inappropriately named servers. Furthermore, it helps facilitate the development of cheats. I would love to get my hands on the server software, but it's unlikely to happen. And if it does happen, it's likely to have some serious restrictions like no progression.
