I have never seen someone suggesting this map, but I think it would be a good addition.
It took place near Rzhev in the Tver region in Russia from 25. November to 21. December 1942. It was planned as the twin of Operation Uranus, the German salient was the target of an encircling attempt to eliminate the threat to Moscow entirely. But the Soviets had no success. The Germans defended the area in depth, and took groud back. There were no senseless orders like in Stalingrad. This successful defence, the overshadowing of Stalingrad and the Soviet loss is a reason it was forgotten after the war, despite it being a big and bloody battle.
In the game, it would most likely be a more forested map with some swamps and fields, maybe a village in the winter. This would be a new unique map for the Eastern front, and alongside a German eastern front subfaction for the current 1942-43 map will definetely be a fan favourite.
