It seems like only Machineguns and sniper rifles do supression in this game.
SMGs and rifles should also do some supression, specially when its several shots in a row in the same vicinity.

A system where supression becomes an acumulative thing with a minimum and a maximum value would be ideal, IE you do near nothing with a single SMG shot, but you do some more supression with a burst of bullets, or with a long amount of automatic fire. Some supression from rifles would be nice too, as a single rifle bullet is generally about as powerful as a single MG bullet in each faction.

It should work more bullets landing near you. A near shot from a single rifle round should absolutely put you in full suppression mode. It’s annoying firing a single rifle shot, missing by less than an inch, only to be sprayed by a SMG because suppression is non-existent and next to useless

And also the suppression of artillery, grenades, passing projectiles, etc.

more camera shakes, momentary deafness effect and screams when being shot and when incapacitated.

more echoes in weapons and more sounds of distant wars. In this game you seem to be in a war visually speaking. However, in terms of sound ambience, there is no ambiance at all. Game is still too quiet for a war environment!

The grenade explosion sounds in this game are horrible.

Supression could have some animations like the character trying to protect himself putting his hands in front of his face (well, would have a small chance of happening). It may look silly, but its a natural movement.
