No, that's the commanders call to spawn a solo a tank or not. It's all situational.. I'd rather solo a tank then have a crew mate with no comms

No, if you have a commander with even a shred of brains solo tankers will not have access to any tanks other than default spawns. If commander is spawning tanks for less than 3 man crews that's on them

There are servers that will automatically kill you if you solo a tank. Its a server option on PC. Honestly solos aren't a problem in the game. Its just not really a effective way to use armor.
