I have no idea if this was already suggested, or even if it's something in the works. I think adding the Italians would add a nice bit of variety to the Axis side. Plus you wouldn't even necessarily need to add new maps (although that would be cool). Since Stalingrad and El-Alamein had Italians, you could just add the option to play as them on those maps too.
