Im a huge fan of 1 handed sprinting animations, like currently the germans and british do with their rifles in game. However I think the british should have the two handed sprint like the American's and Soviets, with the one handed be used primarily for Axis forces. It can just be a nice way to identify the two if you have the team indicator occlusion on.

It’s how British soldiers typically ran with their gear, I think more weapons should use the 1 hand sprint like the Bren,
@sage shard I think just increasing the weapons that can do it for the British would be good enough, technically they can add it to the Sten along with that they should definitely add it to the Bren

Just looked at some combat footage, seems you're right.
Though I think overall it would be nice to have some variety, maybe it could just be random each time someone sprints
