The British Lee–Enfield rifle has a 10 round magazine, and I believe it was reloaded using 5 round stripper clips?

I can see a situation where if you've fired say, for example, 9 rounds and start a reload your guy will use one stripper clip then manually reload 4 more rounds.
It'll take ages to reload, and you'll be stuck in a reload animation unable to do anything about it.

If you've fired 5+ rounds I'd like to be able to use one stripper clip then stop the guy from continuing to manually load single rounds.

Looks like this didn't get implemented then.
Can we cancel the reload after the stripper clip please.

This is how it worked in RO2 with the SVT40 and G41. reloading with less than 5 bullets remaining would use s stripper clip. Then the reload animation would end. If you wanted to top off completely you could choose to reload again and the character would load individual rounds.

At the very least, allow us to cancel the reload early by pressing M1/RT/R2.
