Absolutely no disrespecting Community Members, Developers, Publishers, and Moderators.
Absolutely no political or religious based comments and discussions.
Absolutely no racism in any form or capacity will be tolerated.
Do not use excessive, extreme, or overly explicit language, or act with hostility.
Do not insult, mock, or target other users based on age, gender, race, nationality, occupation, physical or mental health, or even opinions about Hell Let Loose.
Please refrain from tagging Team17 staff and developers.
Lastly, please view Channel Descriptions/Pinned Messages for Channel Specific Rules. I.E Recruitment and Artwork.

2. Hell Let Loose Discussion Only

This Discord encourages discussion related to Hell Let Loose, and content and memes directly related to Hell Let Loose are allowed. Please stay on topic within each channel according to its purpose.
Discussions about features found in other titles, which you want to see in Hell Let Loose, are allowed.
Do not insult, mock, or advertise competing titles.
Absolutely no posting/sharing of NSFW content will be permitted on this server.

3. No Community or Player Drama

If you have a problem with a player/community, please choose to handle this privately. Please note that the Moderation team can only act on matters occurring within this server.
Posts which target individuals, communities or staff will be removed.
Posts which share toxic behaviour in-game or otherwise will be removed, unless this is being shared as evidence.

4. Spam and Troll Posting

Purposeful attempts to derail the conversation or antagonize other users will be removed and met with moderation action.
Please do not post spam, including "copypasta" or targeted harassment.
Please do not post bait or trolling attempts.

5. Misinformation & Speculation

Please refrain from intentionally sharing misinformation.
Please do not impersonate others including Development and Community Staff.
Open speculation is welcomed, however, excessive and non-constructive doomsaying will be removed.

6. No Discussion of Exploits, Hacks, Cheats or Piracy

Any post, comment or discussion on how to cheat, exploit, hack or pirate Hell Let Loose is not permitted.
General discussions regarding potential or speculative hacking in Hell Let Loose are allowed, but will be heavily monitored.

Recorded videos and snippets of streams are allowed in their respective channels.
Please do not advertise or share other Discord community’s links outside of their respective channels. Discord links, if requested, should be shared via Direct Message and only with the recipient’s permission.

8. NSFW Content or Sensitive Historical Imagery

To protect this community, please do not post:
NSFW content, including graphic & violent imagery.
Real world combat footage.
Imagery considered offensive in modernity.
Do not post Nazi imagery and/or iconographies outside of the WW2 History channel. Any images containing symbolism in modernity, added or modified, posted purposefully, or used as promotion, will be actioned against. UPDATED: 17/04/2025

Hell Let Loose aims to deliver a historically accurate and authentic World War Two experience, striving to maintain unprecedented attention to detail in the historical depiction of the uniforms, weaponry, and tactics of period military units, however, we also recognize the brutality of armed conflict on a global scale and the unique atrocities which occurred, on all sides, during the Second World War and the enormous human toll it had. We respect that many have a deep passion for the history of particular units, as well as their uniforms, equipment, or individual members.

To facilitate this passion and provide a space for learning about WWII history, community members can opt-in to our WW2 History channel by using the questions here ⁠id:home. This channel offers community members the opportunity to learn more about the events of WWII through the lens of hindsight, and while some imagery from the past might be offensive in modernity, it shouldn’t prevent us from learning why it was used and why others are offended by it today - while remaining respectful of the feelings that might provoke for some people.

The restrictions on NSFW content are inclusive of the WW2 History channel, and we ask that any historical images are posted respectfully and factually, without glorification, and do not outright feature grievously wounded or deceased persons.

Similarly with your profile set-up, please consider the sensitivity and/or the way other community members may view that imagery, iconography, or name before you choose a profile photo and username.

We ask that you refrain from using Nazi imagery and/or iconographies like the Swastika, SS runes, and SS unit insignia. We also ask that you think about your choice of name.

Whilst our Moderators will warn you if your profile is inappropriate, we would prefer to trust you with ensuring your profile and representation respect the whole Hell Let Loose community.

Anyone who participates in racism, hate, or flaming will be warned and removed. Additionally, as our community continues to grow, Team17 reserves the right to amend or otherwise modify the Discord rules at any point.
