(t2po) wandering trader
Hi I'm AutoThreadBot! Don't mind me, I'll just be adding the helper team to this thread so they can see it. A human will get to you soon.
Can you rephrase?
I have an unusually high number of wanderer traders near an NPC. A few days ago I found about 10 of them near an NPC. And the next day there were 4 more in the same place. I'm not sure if it's because of the NPC (it doesn't seem to be the case with other NPCs), but I noticed the close proximity.
!logs
Please post your full latest log file.
Background Info: One of the most helpful tools to identifying the source of a problem is your server logs file! Logs contain all sorts of important information like server and plugin versions, any error messages, and a lot more important information (More Info).
How To: Your log can be found in the logs folder within your server folder. The most recent log is a text file labeled latest.log. To get help using these logs, please open that file in a text editor and copy all of the text, then open https://paste.denizenscript.com/New/Log and paste the text into the box on the page. Then click "Submit" and copy the URL and paste that back into this channel.
Please do not upload the file to Discord or to other pastebin services, use the log pastebin linked above.
@glacial meteor
What are you hoping to find in the logs?
I can tell you everything you need if you need anything? But a log with all my 60+ plugins is probably not necessary.

Version: Citizens (2.0.35-SNAPSHOT (build 3598) (Paper 1.21.1-132) and there are no errors in the log. I would avoid a complete log for security reasons.
ok, it's a bit hard to help then

@glacial meteor
As I said, I can give you all the relevant information, but more than necessary is not really useful

@glacial meteor
mh a pity 😦
If the security reasons are not wanting to expose player's ips or chat, there are toggleable censors you can use at the top of the submission site
But as mentioned earlier, it's a little hard for us to know the issue without seeing your server start up
yes it is about ips/chats but also about version and the presence of all plugins which is also security relevant
How is your version and plugin usage a security issue?
it would not be the first time that there are problems in certain paper/plugin versions which are exploited
Well in that case update? lol
well, if you knew all the problems before they became visible, there would be no problems
You are not on the latest versions. You can minimize the amount of exploits when you update your software, which include patches for known exploits
I do that, but it doesn't change the fact that such information can be problematic. in general, you should only collect data (from a security perspective) that you really need
Why should I put a log of 50 plugins on the internet that have nothing to do with the actual problem?
I dont think that you are doing that, because you running an outdated version of Minecraft that's already outdated for a couple of months now
It seems that the thing you trying to get help, is a potential bug. So if you cant provide a log for us, which has all details, it's hard to replicate and troubleshoot the problem
Also: Citizens is 1.21.1 is outdated and unsupported for a while now, so.. update to 1.21.4 and see if it's fixed already.

@glacial meteor
my actual question was only about citizens npc possibly being able to trigger wanderer trader spawn. that's all my question was really about

yes, that's what I thought too
