Purpur version 1.21.3-2358-ver/1.21.3@16ce24a (2024-12-04T12:57:44Z)
Citizens v2.0.37-SNAPSHOT (build 3649) -- (Current build :white_check_mark:)
@gentle dust
Offline, but proxied.
WorldGuard v7.0.12+829a4a4, ProtocolLib v5.3.0
floodgate v2.2.3-SNAPSHOT (b114-83fbd6e) - Bedrock clients are unsupportable. Please do all testing with a Java Edition client.
TAB v5.0.3 - This plugin adds Below_Name scoreboards to NPCs.
HeadDatabase v4.20.4 - HeadDatabase has been known to cause issues with skins.
Multiverse-Core v4.3.14 - Multi-world configuration plugins may affect NPCs in unexpected ways.
Starting Minecraft server on *:25510 - server is offline but has no address bind. This might mean you're using a system level firewall, but if not, it means your proxy is bypassable by hackers. Either enable a system level firewall, or bind your server to localhost in server.properties via server-ip=127.0.0.1.

Your citizens is too new.
...
like i said ive tried all the way back to nov 30th
Okay.
https://ci.citizensnpcs.co/job/Citizens2/3644/ Use this version and post a log please.
I'd like to see it erroring on that version.
(This was the last built version for 1.21.3)
i can put an old jar in?
You've did this before?
i went up in increments in order
Well, please try this specific version and if you still get errors then submit a log here.
can i give you a hug because dam ive been at this for at least 3 hours and its 3am. it finally loaded into test 🥲
the amount of npcs we use this wouldve been a big blow to the community
Usually #news will have information regarding last built versions.
Normally, we don't support older builds but this is more than understandable because paper isn't stable for 1.21.4 yet.
It's good to see that it worked without any fatal issues.

yea im waiting to see purpur push to 1.21.4 stable first im not messing with experimental
dtl traders hooked into it fine as well
Our plugins (Citizens, Sentinel, and Denizen) officially support both Spigot and Paper.
Any other forks of the Bukkit project are not supported, but may or may not work in practice.
-
Lower forks, like CraftBukkit, do not function. You must upgrade to a higher fork (Spigot or Paper).
-
Hard forks and cross-forks, like Cauldron/Magma/Mohist/Any other Forge-integration fork, or Cardboard/any other Fabric-integration fork, will not work. Some unofficial custom builds of Citizens are made to support these servers, but we cannot provide any support for them here.
-
Higher forks above Spigot/Paper, such as Purpur, Airplane, etc. are compatible with Citizens only as much as they are compatible with Spigot/Paper. They are generally expected to work in most cases, but we cannot make any guarantees. We will still offer support to users running such forks, but be aware that if you encounter bugs while running such a fork, we may ask you to replicate them on Spigot/Paper to confirm they aren't caused by changes the fork made.
yea purpur should be fine because its just paper with extra stuff
Yes, just making aware.
yup im aware. you guys are moving more towards paper tho right after the whole hard fork fiasco

yup its a mixed bag. i built the server coming in knowing little about server jars. i know now i shouldve just built it on paper but the promise of performance gains was enticing and im in too deep. i dont think i used any of the altering purpur functions. just hoped it would run better but they did say i can swap the jar and acknoledge things like expanding barrel sizes from the purpur yml would disapear
most of the server is vanilla or plugin dependent.
i am getting this
[03:37:29 ERROR]: [Citizens] Player registered twice 990c5e8e-ae8b-27c0-9d42-d2d8d29ee340
[03:38:06 ERROR]: [Citizens] Player registered twice 990c5e8e-ae8b-27c0-9d42-d2d8d29ee340

Do you use the api for custom plugin interaction with citizens?
the only thing hooking into it is dtl traders i think
I ask because of: #1308624182241660948 message
I hope this wasn't fixed in 1.21.4 version only.
Latest citizens seems to have fixed this, which... targets 1.21.4. Oh boy.
I don't know if fullwall plans to backport this at all, or if they want to say anything else. Since paper is not stable for 1.21.4 and the hardfork is coming for paper which puts things in an interesting perspective.
man so im out of luck my console is going to be full of these till i got to 1.21.4?
it should not be only fixed in an experimental version
As said, I don't know if fullwall wants to say anything regarding this. We'll see.
i mean everything seems to work its just annoying i hate seeing error + idk what its actually doing
it could be broken i just havnt found it
@normal token it's not actually going to affect anything, but the message isn't removed until 1.21.4

Incredibly annoying that it spams my console with garbage is it not a quick fix or able to be replicated back. Like the other person said 1.21.4 is not even stable on paper yet. I really feel you should reconsider as a lot of us server admin and owners rely on the console as a system of record and if that record is clogged from this period to 1.21.4s release it will be incredibly difficult to ever find anything we need as it spams sometimes 3-5 times per minute
@normal token I can't reconsider unfortunately because we no longer support 1.21.3
