Please follow the instructions, the team prioritizes either updating the server than providing outdated builds, as they may include old bugs, vulnerabilities, or exploits.

There is also some bugs remaining in 1.20.4, one of them being items renamed in anvils are unstackable.

I think it better to try and find out the problem with your crashes then relying on an old build.

This includes other plugins too, TerraformGenerator is out of date, this may be a leading cause to shutdown on 1.20.6 with lots of errors happening regarding the world.
