Random idea for a new ship part. Medium shields. They're like small shields, but the have a slightly wider covered area, their shield is projected way way farther ahead (2x or 3x the distance of a small shield) and they have an energy capacity of 12 with an according shield strength of 30k, or a bit less than that as a tax for projecting the shield so far away.
