Game desyncs when trying to repair a ship

I'm playing in multiplayer with a few mods with a friend and every time I try to repair my ship (Prince of chaos) it just desyncs entirely and will then constantly desync after

hmm, I'm unable to load this rec because I get an error with one of the mods:

System.Exception: Error loading mod: Maltis Missions And Enemys Mod Pack Extension
 ---> Halfling.ObjectText.OTNavigateException: Unable to find node at path "<modes/career/career.rules>/MaltisGlobalCareerSettings".

So we tried it without that mod and it still continued to desync when repairing the prince
