#improvement of resource management

this part of the game is taking a lot of time for no real fun. There is a lot that could be done like:

  1. Display always all resources in the assign resource menu. (why can't I assign Uranium to specific storage if I used all of it ?!?). Do I really have to buy 1 Uranium just to be able to assign Uranium to specific storage space? (Already available in the hamburger menu. Thx @hybrid tartan )
  2. Customizable flexible storage assignment. Aka giving us the possibility to assign for instance Carbon, Uranium or Gold to a specific storage space or anything expect steel, wire, iron and copper
  3. Assign priority to storage spaces. The whole "Logistic chain" feature is really nice in specific situations. But most of my play time a simple priority on storage would be enough and easier to configure and maintain. For instance I would love ammunition to be loaded first close to the guns who uses it instead of somewhere in the ship
  4. More zone selection feature in the resource management. Having to click on every single storage space to jettison or move resources in really annoying
  5. The new feature showing which resources lay around in space wen "zone selecting" is really nice, thx ! I would love if you could add filters for specific resources to show always wen out of combat. Aka let me see where the diamonds are in space without having me to manually search if there are any.

I am sure there is even more. Add a comment if you think of something else

PS: I have seen several request like this, so I thought that regrouping them could be useful

1 cehck the hamburger menu
2 yes, would be useful for combat ships too (have storage start sulfur, then fill up with ammo as an exmaple)
3 how would it fit in the ui? another button?
4 you can right click the resource button to eject all, and you can use ctrl and shift to control how your resources are painted under the mouse

  1. Not having these resources on the ship but being able to assign any existing type of resources to the storage, I also believe that this is a necessary option.
  2. The priority of filling the storage is also needed, I agree.
  3. The problem with transferring resources needs to be fixed so that you can transfer not 20 units of one resource at a time, but the entire storage with one click.
  4. In space, resources are not visible when the ship flies by, and if there are a few pieces of steel nearby, I have to constantly fly with the 'collect/harvest resources' function to see the outline of the lying resources !
    That's my opinion on what needs to be fixed !
